ACE Parking is a leading provider of parking and transportation services across the U.S., with a strong presence at hospitals, airports, and institutional campuses. With a focus on safety, risk management, and customer satisfaction, ACE prioritizes delivering seamless, secure mobility for passengers and employees alike.
Whether shuttling healthcare workers across hospital campuses or managing visitor flow at public destinations like San Diego’s Balboa Park, ACE relies on consistent performance from its drivers and the technology supporting them.
To deliver on its safety-first mission, ACE needed a smarter way to monitor performance in real time, ensure consistent service, and mitigate risk in complex environments with high pedestrian and passenger interaction. The team sought a video telematics solution that would provide clear, defensible data to uphold its zero-tolerance policy for distracted driving and support fair, accurate employment decisions. They also needed real-time visibility into vehicle occupancy, boarding conditions, and route performance to maintain operational consistency across locations with fluctuating shuttle demand. In parallel, leadership saw an opportunity to enhance driver development through personalized coaching, using performance insights to address skill gaps and uphold high service standards, even in high-pressure environments.
ACE Parking partnered with Netradyne, deploying its Driver·i fleet safety and management system to support complex shuttle operations. Initial deployments began at strategic San Diego sites like Rady Children’s Hospital and Balboa Park, where daily rider experience and safety are closely scrutinized by both clients and the public.
With Netradyne, ACE is able to monitor safety events and operational conditions in real time, pulling video footage from specific moments to review incidents, identify operational trends, or assess system health. This visibility extends to operational metrics as well, such as understanding how full shuttles are at peak times, how efficiently drivers are boarding passengers, or whether additional service hours are needed.
Driver performance can now be evaluated more holistically, enabling tailored retraining when needed. In complex, pedestrian-heavy environments, this coaching capability is crucial for maintaining high safety standards. The system has also brought peace of mind to both drivers and managers. For drivers, the cameras offer support in a role that is often independent and fast-paced. For managers, Netradyne offers an easy-to-use dashboard that eliminates the guesswork from daily operations.
"System monitoring and tracking driver performance, that's what gives them peace of mind. The hardest part of this job is how independent it is. You’ve got a radio, a phone, a camera, and a vehicle full of passengers. They really value having the cameras there to support them, something that just didn’t exist before,” says Morgan Leslie, Managing Director, Ground Transportation.
In addition, Netradyne plays a strategic role in strengthening ACE’s client relationships. Data from the platform feeds into performance dashboards that are shared with leadership at partner organizations, reinforcing transparency and building trust.
While still in the early phases of wider adoption, ACE Parking is already seeing strong results at its pilot locations. Drivers and managers alike report increased confidence knowing that the system offers visibility, accountability, and support where it once didn’t exist. Managers can now have holistic performance conversations centered around the driver's GreenZone® Score, which looks at the totality of their driving behavior. Leslie also shared that drivers appreciate knowing the system has their back, especially in situations that once relied solely on word-of-mouth.
Operationally, Netradyne has become an essential tool for identifying inefficiencies and making real-time adjustments. From evaluating service hours to assessing how full vehicles are during certain shifts, the technology is helping ACE fine-tune delivery and exceed client expectations.
“We’ve found Netradyne to be the most advanced product in the space. My goal is always to partner with best-in-class technology across everything my clients need: GPS, cameras, monitoring, accounting, maintenance, and equipment. Every component needs to be top-tier,” says Leslie.
With strong early results, ACE Parking plans to expand Netradyne’s Driver·i video safety solution across its larger operations, especially locations with 15 or more vehicles in service at any given time. Integration with internal KPI dashboards is a natural next step, allowing the company to centralize data from video safety, route performance, and passenger flow into a single reporting system.
