We improve driver safety by earning and maintaining trust.
At Netradyne, we understand that data privacy is essential to building trust with our customers, their drivers, and the communities we serve. Our commitment to privacy goes beyond compliance—it's a core element of how we design and deliver our driver and fleet safety solutions.
As your trusted partner in fleet safety technology, we are committed to maintaining the highest standards of data protection while delivering innovative solutions that respect your privacy and dignity. Our privacy-by-design approach ensures that privacy protections are built into our products from the ground up. Our products incorporate privacy-protective options:
At Netradyne, we believe that artificial intelligence must be developed and deployed responsibly. Our Driver•i platform isn't just built on advanced technology—it's built on principles that prioritize human well-being, privacy, and fairness. Our approach to developing AI solutions is anchored in core values of fairness, transparency, accountability, safety, privacy, and reliability. These principles inform our roadmap for technology advancement and shape how we design, test, and deploy AI-powered solutions for fleet safety.
We recognize that responsible AI requires ongoing commitment and evolution. As the regulatory landscape for artificial intelligence continues to develop globally, we actively monitor emerging requirements and standards. Our cross-functional teams work diligently to align our practices with evolving regulations, including the EU AI Act and other regional frameworks, ensuring our technology remains both innovative and compliant.
Our security approach is founded on three key principles: security by design in our systems, security by culture among our employees, and security by practice in our development processes. Netradyne rigorously protects your data using security best practices commensurate with the risks. We implement comprehensive technical and organizational measures including:
We understand the complexity of data protection regulations and are dedicated to continuously evolving our processes and product capabilities to align with regulatory requirements and other best practices. We are committed to helping our customers navigate complex privacy and data protection mandates across different jurisdictions.
Learn MoreWhile each organization's compliance needs are unique, Netradyne's flexible platform and knowledgeable team are ready to work with customers to help address their specific regulatory considerations in the regions where they operate. Netradyne can support compliance efforts of its customers, in the context of the engaged services, through the following:
GDPR and some regulations require organizations to conduct a DPIA when implementing new technologies that may pose high risk to the rights and freedoms of individuals (data subjects). Netradyne offers pertinent materials and templates to assist organizations in conducting such assessments. Contact your Netradyne representative for DPIA support.
In the context of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the customer will act as a data controller. Netradyne’s standard controller-to-processor DPA aligns with global privacy regulations and standards. It also incorporates the EU Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs). The SCCs provide the lawful basis for transfer of data outside the EU. Click here to access our Global DPA (restricted access).
Netradyne is transparent about its data practices. We provide details about how we collect and process your data in our Privacy Policy. Netradyne also provides privacy stickers, that can be affixed on the fleet vehicles, that may be used by customers. Netradyne’s sample consent forms may be used by customers to provide privacy notices to and obtain consents from their drivers.
We store data on AWS servers in the United States. If your data is being transported or stored across international borders, you can be assured that Netradyne has taken steps to ensure the transfer is compliant with applicable laws. Netradyne enters into appropriate Data Processing Agreements (DPAs) including Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) with appropriate technical and organizational security measures to ensure that your personal information is processed in accordance with applicable data protection laws and standards.
Privacy isn't an afterthought—it's engineered into our products from conception. Through configurable privacy modes, role-based access controls, and data minimization practices, we empower our customers to implement safety technology while respecting driver privacy. [More]
Netradyne's Driver•i platform incorporates multiple privacy features designed to balance fleet safety needs with driver privacy considerations.
Our solution is designed to safeguard the privacy of everyone on the road, from drivers and their passengers to pedestrians and other road users, by carefully optimizing and limiting both the types of data we collect and the duration for which it is retained. By striking a thoughtful balance between safety and privacy, we not only empower fleet managers with the insights they need to promote secure driving habits but also provide drivers with the peace of mind that their personal information is never exposed unnecessarily. In this way, we create a safer driving environment that respects individual privacy needs while maintaining the highest standards of operational oversight.
Our platform offers multiple privacy modes tailored to each organization’s requirements and culture, along with the ability to customize device behavior. It performs automated compliance checks based on geography‑specific regulations and supports configurable data retention periods for both device and cloud. Advanced blurring functionality ensures sensitive details are obscured, while unblurring privileges remain restricted to designated user roles. Finally, multiple user roles enforce access levels and privileges, which can be further fine‑tuned through customizable role definitions.
