All My Sons Moving & Storage, based in Carrollton, Texas, is a family-owned company committed to delivering reliable, white-glove services to customers nationwide.

While its fleet often travels highways and long distances, much of All My Sons' business is local, requiring drivers to navigate crowded downtown areas, tight alleys, neighborhoods, and areas with heavy pedestrian traffic. These challenges led to frequent incidents, such as backing accidents and driveway damage claims, which were difficult to investigate and resolve accurately.

Also, as a company proud of its high service standards, All My Sons sought better visibility into the cargo area—or “the box”—to monitor how employees packed and stacked items, ensuring quality control during transit.

The search for a solution.

Seeing the need for a comprehensive video safety solution, All My Sons tested several vendors before choosing Netradyne for its advanced technology.

“We saw value in Netradyne and felt that its cameras were ahead in AI and technology,” said Walter Black, All My Sons VP of Risk Management.

Another factor in their choice was Netradyne's integration with Geotab's electronic logging device (ELD), GPS, and fleet management solution.

The company installed nearly 900 units, with approximately 750 vehicles outfitted with a complete package that included external side cameras, rear-view cameras, and interior cameras facing the cargo area. It also outfitted seasonal rental trucks for the busy summer period with a simpler setup.

From zero visibility to a complete view at all times.

According to Black, backing incidents had been a top problem for the company, with drivers being the only ones with visibility in these situations. Netradyne's cameras assist with this problem by providing a 360-degree view of 100% of drive time, giving fleet managers both visibility and essential context for all incidents.

“The side-view cameras paired with the rear-view cameras were game-changing for us,” said Black. “Now we improved visibility into what the driver saw or didn’t see at the time of the incident. It goes beyond-backing incidents—it’s also about seeing vehicles approaching from the rear or trying to go around us.  The technology has opened up a whole new realm of visibility.”

It has also earned the support of drivers. “I’ve used the technology multiple times to assist in protecting the driver,” Black said. “Drivers talk among themselves and that starts to spread across the fleet. When drivers see how the system works, it’s easy to get buy-in.”

The buy-in from the drivers also led to improved GreenZone scores–Netradyne’s proprietary driver scoring system–year over year from 832 to 852 (a 2.4% increase) and are now at 915, a 10% total improvement. The target score is 850 or above and each 50-point increase in the score results in an average 13-15% reduction in APMM.


Mitigated claims, reduced risk, & time saved.

Netradyne’s system has been particularly effective in mitigating claims related to property damage because All My Sons can now prove the state of a property at the time of their arrival.

“The visibility into how our vehicles are reversing may seem minor, but it’s really not, especially when we get claims from people saying we damaged their driveways,” Black said. “Now we can see damage that exists before we reach the area.”

In its first 12 months with Netradyne, Black identified multiple cases where the cameras and recorded footage helped defend liability decisions, including one case where a police report was completely inconsistent with the video evidence.  

Because of these outcomes, All My Sons has also saved time that would have gone to defend itself or trying to piece together what happened.

“The technology is a security blanket,” Black said. “It provides us better visibility and understanding of actual events that took place.
