EMSAR (Equipment Management Service and Repair) is a national leader in medical equipment service and repair, with technicians operating across the U.S. The company is known for delivering responsive, high-quality field service to healthcare providers, ensuring their equipment is operational when it matters most. With a distributed fleet and a commitment to operational excellence, EMSAR relies heavily on its drivers to deliver timely, reliable support to its customers.
Before implementing Netradyne, EMSAR’s fleet operations faced significant visibility challenges. “It was extremely difficult to track vehicles and understand what was happening on the road,” said Operations Manager, Rhonnie Moore, reflecting on EMSAR’s fleet operations prior to implementing Netradyne. Without a telematics system or dash cams, the team lacked real-time insights into vehicle locations and driver activity. Technicians had to be contacted directly for status updates, and incident reviews were often delayed and lacked the clarity needed for confident decision-making.
This lack of data came with consequences; there was no way to recognize safe driving behavior across the fleet. EMSAR recognized the need for a more proactive and data-driven approach—one that would enhance safety, reduce risk, improve accountability, and bring greater efficiency to fleet management.
EMSAR evaluated several video telematics platforms, including Samsara and others, but ultimately selected Netradyne based on a key differentiator: positive reinforcement for safe driving.
“Our insurance broker recommended Netradyne, and once we saw the GreenZone scores, DriverStars, and driver rankings, we knew it was the right fit. It gave us a way to go from zero to 60 in a safety program, and do it in a positive, engaging way.”

With Netradyne’s Driver·i video safety solution integrated into their existing Geotab platform, EMSAR achieved full compliance across its fleet from a single-pane-of-glass view of their operations. The company leveraged Netradyne's in-cab alerts and automated coaching tools to build a proactive feedback loop. They even raised their GreenZone Score target from 850 to 900, a goal the team has now exceeded for over a year.
The Driver·i AI-powered video safety solution captures and analyzes 100% of drive time, so fleets can see both safe and risky driving. With the GreenZone Score, drivers earn points for proactive, safe driving behaviors like complying with stop signs, maintaining safe following distance, remaining attentive throughout their trip, and adhering to speed limits.
Since implementing Netradyne’s Driver·i in fall 2023, EMSAR has seen measurable improvements in safety, productivity, and cost savings. Within just six months of implementing Netradyne, EMSAR experienced a 90% reduction in projected losses, incurring only 10% of the prior year’s losses. Their CFO now anticipates finishing the year at just 25% of budgeted losses. The system delivered full return on investment in under six months, with cost savings covering the entire spend.
EMSAR’s GreenZone Score now consistently remains above 900, reflecting improved driver performance and accountability. In critical situations, Netradyne’s real-time alerts have made a meaningful difference. For example, when a technician passed out behind the wheel, the system enabled EMSAR to dispatch emergency services immediately, saving valuable time.
"I have collision alerts set up on my phone so I can respond quickly to major incidents. When one of our drivers was in an accident, I received the alert and immediate video footage. I was able to notify his manager, who then called 911 with the exact location. The driver had passed out behind the wheel and veered into a tree. Thanks to the real-time alert and visibility, we were able to get him help right away. Fortunately, he only sustained minor injuries.”

Operations Manager at EMSAR
Over the past 12 months, EMSAR increased their average GreenZone Score from 916 to 937, comparing the first four weeks to the last four. They outperformed similar-sized Netradyne fleets with comparable tenure by 14% in average GreenZone score. During the same period, Driver Stars per Severe Alert improved by 79%, while Severe Alerts decreased by 52% and Moderate Alerts decreased by 27%, per 1,000 minutes driven.
Operationally, fleet management has become significantly more efficient, with Moore’s team managing safety and compliance in just 10–15 minutes a day thanks to the platform’s dashboards and alerts. Most notably, EMSAR has seen a culture shift toward safety. “Dash cam culture is here,” shared Moore. “It’s recommended everywhere. It’s far more positive these days than negative, and people are starting to buy into it.”
EMSAR continues to build on its safety momentum, embedding Driver·i into KPIs and coaching routines while using its insights to evaluate vehicle utilization and refine fleet policy.
The team’s focus is now on continuous improvement, using driver data to support more informed decision-making, and maintaining a culture of proactive, positive safety management.
“Don’t fear the mountain,” Moore advises others considering Netradyne. “Once you get it in place, the system does the work for you. And the results speak for themselves.”
