Due to the placement of this sensor on the vehicle's dash, we have clear visibility to measure more than just the general behaviors that are associated with drowsiness, such as yawning and head movements.
What does it measure?
This sensor measures microsleeps through eye closures, blink measurements and the percent of eye closure over time, among other scientific methods to detect drowsy driving at the earliest stages. Exceptional drowsy detection enables us to review a wider range of eyelid status and movement indicators and head movements in low or harsh lighting conditions for a more comprehensive and reliable assessment of drowsy behaviors.
