TOKYO, September 29, 2026: Netradyne, Inc. (headquartered in San Diego, CA, USA; CEO: Avneesh Agrawal), a global provider of AI-powered fleet safety and performance solutions, today announced the establishment of Netradyne Japan K.K. (Netradyne Japan 株式会社; Tokyo) in August 2026, and the appointment of Yuki Akai as Vice President, Netradyne and President, Netradyne Japan, effective September 1, 2026. In this role, Akai leads Netradyne's business in Japan, overseeing go-to-market strategy, partnerships, and customer growth.

Netradyne has been expanding its presence in Japan with the introduction of its Driver•i platform, supporting fleet operators as they navigate evolving safety, efficiency, and workforce challenges. Netradyne regards Japan as one of its most important strategic regions and, with the new entity as its base, will continue to invest actively in the market, expanding its local team, delivering a product fully localized for Japan, and building a partner ecosystem. Akai's appointment marks the next step in that growth, strengthening local leadership and accelerating the company's momentum in the Japanese market.

Akai brings more than two decades of leadership experience across finance, business operations, and corporate strategy at global technology companies, including Dell, Amazon, Trend Micro, and Salesforce. Most recently, as President of Nauto Japan, he spent four years leading the expansion of AI-powered safe-driving management solutions in the Japanese market. His experience scaling global technology businesses in Japan, together with his standing as an industry leader in fleet safety and mobility technologies, positions him well to lead Netradyne's next phase of growth in the country.

Yuki Akai graduated from the Faculty of Economics at Keio University and went on to hold key positions in finance and business operations at IT companies including Dell and Amazon. At Trend Micro, as Senior Director of Global Sales Operations, he drove productivity improvements across sales and marketing activities in 42 countries worldwide, and was subsequently appointed Corporate Officer and Head of Corporate Strategy, leading the company's mid- to long-term business plan. At Salesforce, he served as Managing Executive Officer and head of finance for the Japan subsidiary, introducing U.S. headquarters best practices to Japan while driving timely and effective investment decision-making to accelerate the business. From 2022, as President of Nauto Japan, he led the expansion of AI-powered safe-driving management solutions in the Japanese market for four years. He is widely recognized in the logistics industry as an expert and thought leader on the use of AI and other advanced technologies to improve fleet safety and reduce accidents, and speaks regularly at industry conferences and seminars on advancing safety management for transport and logistics operators. He joined Netradyne on September 1, 2026.
