Bangalore, India – September 9, 2025 – Netradyne, a global leader in AI-driven fleet safety, today announced the launch of its flagship Driver•i D-450 video safety platform and the latest DMS Sensor in India. The four-camera D-450 system – Netradyne’s AI-powered road-safety solution – records and analyzes 100% of driving time with ultra-high accuracy, detecting risky behaviors or fatigue in real time; while the optional Driver-Drowsiness detection (DMS Sensor) is an in-cab accessory that specifically monitors the driver’s eyes for alertness.

The Ministry of Road Transport & Highways (MoRTH) in India, has recently mandated the deployment of LDWS (lane departure warning) and DDAWS (driver drowsiness and attention warning system) in commercial vehicles with a capacity of 8 or more passengers from 2026. Netradyne systems are designed in alignment with these evolving standards. By addressing driver distraction, drowsiness, lane discipline, and risky behaviors, Netradyne provides forward-looking technology that helps fleet operators improve their safety game.

Leveraging years of sleep research and vast datasets, the third-generation DMS technology can identify early-stage drowsiness and microsleeps using validated method for detecting drowsiness, like Percentage of Eyelid Closure over the Pupil over Time (PERCLOS), even in low light or while wearing sunglasses.

By combining D-450 and DMS, fleets gain a comprehensive, regulation-ready safety system that goes beyond simple alerts. Key benefits include:

  • Full-spectrum AI Driver Monitoring and Coaching System: Netradyne’s vision-based safety platform uses embedded AI and edge computing to “stay sharp” on 100% of every trip. It automatically identifies risky driving behaviours, issuing instant alerts and gathering rich data to improve driver performance over time.
  • Early drowsiness & fatigue detection: The DMS Sensor spots subtle signs of fatigue – from slow eyelid closure to prolonged blinks – well before a driver loses control. This enables audio alerts and coaching to avert accidents caused by micro-sleep. The system is most critical in passenger and employee transportation, oil & gas, hazardous goods, highway driving and other spaces where drowsiness and fatigue has been noticed as one of the biggest causes of accidents.
  • Positive reinforcement: Netradyne’s Driver•i recognizes the good driving behaviour, encouraging safe driving practices which gradually changes behaviour for good.
  • Driver Scoring System: GreenZone, Netradyne’s proprietary and most advanced driving scoring system is inbuilt in Driver•i that equips fleet & safety managers to have comprehensive score or rating of all of their drivers in single dashboard, and design coaching and rewards programs.

“Netradyne is committed to transforming road safety with smarter technology. Our industry-proven D-450 video safety platform has set a new standard for AI-powered fleet monitoring, and the DMS Sensor add-on brings unprecedented accuracy to driver alertness detection. By launching both in India, we are helping local fleets save lives – identifying drowsy driving before it causes a crash and ensuring our customers stay ahead of upcoming safety regulations.”

With Driver•i platform already trusted by thousands of fleets worldwide, including India, and the DMS Sensor now locally available, Indian fleet operators have a powerful new toolset to enhance safety standards. Together, the D-450 and DMS Sensor deliver precision safety monitoring and actionable insights – empowering fleets to save lives, reduce accidents and improve compliance.
