Greenbush Logistics Drives Fleetwide Safety Transformation with Netradyne

Company
Greenbush Logistics is a safety-first transportation and logistics company focused on providing best-in-class service through a highly experienced fleet. With operations extending from over-the-road trucking to plant-based forklift operations, Greenbush prides itself on its strong culture of accountability, transparency, and continual improvement.

Challenge
Greenbush’s commitment to safety and operational excellence required new tools as the company scaled. Without an in-vehicle camera system, leadership lacked clear visibility into road incidents, leaving them unable to verify accident details, protect drivers, or take informed disciplinary actions.
“We needed to defend our drivers. And without video, we couldn’t always do that. We also wanted a tool for proactive coaching, something we could use daily to improve safety behaviors and create a stronger feedback loop.”

Director of Safety and Recruiting at Greenbush Logistics
However, Greenbush’s team knew that introducing new camera technology to their veteran drivers would need to be handled carefully and thoughtfully. While their commitment to safety and culture was strong, they needed to secure buy-in from a driver base unfamiliar with in-vehicle cameras.

Solution
Greenbush selected Netradyne’s Driver•i video safety solution after an extensive evaluation process that included Samsara, Motive, and Lytx. "Netradyne’s real-time driver scoring, coaching workflows, and strong customer support made the decision clear,” said Trey Weir, Director of Safety and Recruiting.
The rollout included site-level safety meetings to introduce the new system, show real-life examples, and answer drivers’ questions. “It wasn’t just about putting cameras in trucks,” Weir said. “We took the time to bring drivers into the conversation from the start.”
Greenbush now uses Driver•i across its entire truck fleet, and is expanding its use to forklifts, yard dogs, and even UTVs. Cole Phillips, Safety Systems Coordinator, relies on the Netradyne platform as his primary tool for coaching, risk analysis, and real-time incident resolution.
“I get calls from drivers every day asking about their alerts, even if they’ve only had one in the past three months. They want to understand every detail and learn how to improve. I’ve been doing this for two years and the growth I’ve seen is incredible. The drivers have really taken ownership of the system, and their scores just keep getting better.”

Netradyne’s GreenZone® is the industry’s first driver score built on positive reinforcement, versus solely focusing on negative events. Drivers receive DriverStars for safe driving and gain visibility into risky behavior.

Results
Since adopting Netradyne, Greenbush has transformed its approach to safety. Thanks to real-time in-cab coaching and consistent follow-up, risky behaviors like U-turns have nearly been eliminated, dropping from thousands per year to almost none. Drivers who were initially hesitant to embrace the technology now track and celebrate their GreenZone Scores, creating a culture of friendly competition and self-improvement across the fleet.
“We use Netradyne religiously. It's part of every conversation that we have about safety,” said Cameron Barger, Director of Safety and Recruiting
Driver·i has also become an essential tool for protecting the company and its drivers. Video evidence has helped exonerate drivers in multiple rear-end incidents, reducing potential liability and protecting key team members. “The safety team regularly uses footage to challenge FMCSA violations through the DataQs process, resulting in improved CSA scores and more accurate safety records,” said Weir.
“Before we had cameras, a rear-end accident was almost always an automatic termination, because we didn’t know what really happened. Drivers would say, ‘The other car pulled out in front of me,’ but we had no way to prove it. Since using Netradyne, we’ve had five or six cases where the footage showed the driver was right, someone pulled out in front of them and there was nothing they could do. That’s a game changer,” said Michael Pompa, Operations Manager.
Over the past 12 months, Greenbush increased their average GreenZone score from 956 to 959, comparing the first four weeks to the last four. They outperformed similar-sized Netradyne fleets with comparable tenure by 24% in average GreenZone score.
Beyond the road, Greenbush has begun using Driver·i to improve safety inside its facilities. Forklift and yard operations are now monitored with the same level of visibility and accountability, helping site leaders address distractions and near-misses before they lead to incidents.
In their forklift operations, the team leverages Netradyne primarily as a behavioral analysis and post-incident investigation tool. Targeted alerts, such as hard braking, high G-force events, potential collisions, and distracted driving, provide valuable insight into operator behavior and safety risks. The data is especially useful for root cause analysis following incidents, including fixed object or slow-speed maneuver collisions. Additionally, the forklift cameras serve a dual purpose, acting as supplemental surveillance in areas where traditional building cameras are absent.
“Everything we do from a safety perspective now touches Netradyne,” said Barger. “It’s pivotal to our daily operations.”

Next Steps
Greenbush plans to deepen its use of the Netradyne platform by enabling audible alerts for in-cab real-time coaching and expanding the program across all vehicle types and plant equipment.
“We’re not done,” said Barger. “Every day we’re finding new ways to use the platform to make us safer. We’re setting the standard for what a modern safety culture looks like.”
