New to Netradyne dash cams?

Amazon covers hardware, installation, and one year of subscription fees when your company enrolls in safety rewards*. Rates are pre-negotiated for dash cams, and there’s no cost to you while you remain eligible for safety rewards. Every verified truck in your account qualifies for a free dash cam. If you choose to join the program, you’re also eligible to earn between $0.02 and $0.05 extra per collision-free mile on Relay loads when you use an eligible dash cam.

How it works

  • If you’d like to join Relay safety rewards, the Netradyne team can help you commit to a dash cam, applying Amazon’s support with free hardware & installation. You’ll sign up for at least 2 years of subscription with your camera – Amazon will cover the first year and the next year will be a discounted rate, as long as you continue to meet the safety rewards program requirements.
  • Sign up for the program, connect your dash cam to Amazon Relay, and review the key terms and conditions*. This includes Amazon receiving a signal that your dash cam was on and collision data on Relay loads. All data will be combined across all of your company’s drivers.
  • Netradyne will deliver and install your camera at an Amazon yard.
  • Drive collision-free and earn between $0.02 to $0.05 extra per mile. Payments are made based on miles in a calendar month for the previous calendar month.

Product FAQ

The Netradyne Driver•i system doesn't rely on G-force triggers, like legacy event recorders. It analyzes 100% of drive time with vision-based AI, identifying a wide range of both risky and positive driving behaviors.

Driver•i recognizes:

  • Risky Behaviors: Hard braking, rapid acceleration, harsh cornering, speeding, stop sign violations, red-light running, close following distance, and distracted driving (including cell phone use, and driver fatigue). These behaviors are categorized into mild, moderate and severe risk.
  • Safety Events: Collisions, near-collisions, and sudden evasive maneuvers.
  • Proactive Driving: Consistently maintaining safe following distances, smooth driving, and adherence to speed limits can contribute to a driver's GreenZone® score.
  • G-force: The system wakes upon motion when parked and the vehicle is off. This can help identify and mitigate theft and hit-and-runs.
  • On-Demand: Fleet managers can request video clips for specific times or locations. Drivers can also use the “driver alert” button to flag a moment of their choosing.

Driver•i is a standalone system with its own cellular connectivity. It does not rely on a driver's smartphone for data transmission, ensuring that driver data plans are not impacted.

Driver•i offers both road-facing and driver-facing cameras. The driver-facing camera is designed to identify risky behaviors such as distracted driving and drowsiness. Netradyne prioritizes driver privacy and offers configurable settings, including privacy modes when the vehicle is not in operation. All video analysis is primarily performed by AI, minimizing human review unless a specific event warrants it.

Netradyne Driver•i systems are designed to be securely installed and feature tamper-detection capabilities. Any attempts to disconnect, cover, or otherwise interfere with the camera's operation will trigger an alert to the fleet manager. This ensures the continuous and reliable operation of the safety system.

The Driver•i device stores 100-200 hours of video, depending on the model selected, fleet-defined settings, and regulatory requirements. Event-related footage is typically stored on Netradyne’s servers for 90 days. Event footage is managed through a secure cloud-based platform.

A fleet dash cam is a specialized video recording device designed for commercial vehicles. Beyond simply recording video, advanced systems like Netradyne Driver•i incorporate AI, telematics, and real-time alerts to proactively improve driver safety, enhance operational efficiency, and provide crucial evidence in the event of an incident.

The "best" dash cam depends on the specific needs of a fleet. However, for carriers that prioritize safety, compliance, and efficiency, an AI-powered, vision-based system like Netradyne’s Driver•i offers significant advantages. Its ability to analyze 100% of drive time enables managers to understand exactly what occurred on the road and offers automated positive recognition for safe driving. This approach along with our powerful score and self-coaching app makes Driver•i a powerful tool for meeting high safety standards and running a successful operation.

Relay carriers that don't qualify for the free hardware still qualify for a 30% discount on the Netradyne Driver.i dash video platform.

Relay safety rewards require active Relay carrier status, an eligible dash cam sharing limited collision data with Amazon. Disqualifying collision events will reset your company's mileage count and earning tier. If you receive Amazon's support on a dash cam through the program, you must haul at least 12,000 miles with Relay per year. You may owe back some of the setup cost if you unenroll from safety rewards or Relay, or stop meeting program requirements.
