San Diego, CA – March 01, 2023Netradyne, an industry-leading SaaS provider of artificial intelligence (A.I.) and edge computing solutions focused on safety and driver coaching for commercial fleets; today announced the editors of Heavy Duty Trucking have named Driver•iHubX an HDT 2023 Top 20 Product, honoring the best new products introduced to the trucking industry in 2022.

Driver•iHubX, launched in January 2022, is Netradyne’s Driver•i® accessory that enables fleets to add up to four external cameras to the existing installation for a complete 360-degree view around the vehicle. Driver•iHubX retains the advanced features and functionality of its predecessor while also offering additional storage to accommodate external camera views, low-power wake-up for accessing external videos in standby mode, and GPIO connectivity to vehicle sensors to trigger vehicle recordings. Driver•iHubX also provides the driver with external camera views through an optional external monitor to promote safer driving.

“We’re extremely honored that Driver•iHubX is recognized as a 2023 HDT Top 20 Product Award,” commented Avneesh Agrawal, CEO, and Co-Founder at Netradyne. “Advancing technologies that improve safety on the roads for everyone is Netradyne’s highest priority. With thousands of fleets around the globe using Driver•i, fleet adoption, and acceptance is one of the greatest indicators of successful innovation. We’re grateful for the positive recognition Driver•iHubX has received from fleets and other industry experts interested in this technology.”

To determine the Top 20, HDT’s team of experienced trucking editors evaluate all the new and significantly improved products they reported on during the past year to develop a list of finalists. A panel of fleet managers drawn from the publication’s Editorial Advisory Board as well as current and past HDT Truck Fleet Innovators are then asked to score each finalist in three areas in order to determine the winners:

  • Innovation
  • Ability to address industry issues
  • Potential to help fleets’ bottom lines

Not eligible for the Top 20 awards are full powered vehicles or concept/demonstration vehicles or products. Products must be currently commercially available or expected to become commercially available in 2023. Companies are limited to having one award in a year. HDT’s Top 20 award grew out of its longtime annual “Nifty 50.” But where the Nifty 50 was chosen by HDT’s editors, the Top 20 is chosen with the help of leading fleet equipment, maintenance, and management executives.

“It’s not enough to have an innovative product,” explained HDT Editor in Chief Deborah Lockridge. “By including fleet managers in determining the Top 20 Products award, we provide our audience a list of products that have the potential to address pain points and help them succeed in a fast-changing and competitive industry.”

The full list of HDT’s 2022 Top 20 Products appears in the January/February print issue of Heavy Duty Trucking as well as on its website, www.truckinginfo.com. Awards are presented in individual ceremonies at winners’ booths during the American Trucking Associations’ Technology & Maintenance Council annual meeting and exposition.
